Loctite 55 is a new, faster, and more versatile thread sealant that outperforms traditional sealing tapes and hemp/paste combinations, enabling the performance improvements demanded by modern piping systems. Naturally, the product complies with all current regulations.

• Seals pipe thread connections in domestic and industrial applications immediately upon installation, regardless of the ambient temperature.
• It can be used safely in contact with drinking water (hot and cold), gas, compressed air, and industrial oils.
• Can be used wherever sealing tapes and hemp/pastes were previously used.

Approvals:

Drinking Water:
Loctite 55 meets the requirements of the KTW recommendation for cold and hot water, and is approved for drinking water up to 85°C, according to BS 6920.

Gas and Water:
Loctite 55 has DVGW approval, Reg. No. DV-5 142AU0166, tested according to EN 751-2 (Class ARp) and DIN 30660. Can with 150 ml content – Art. No.: 300-5210
